Cow Rescued from Kundrathur

We received a call that one cow was injured after getting hit by a vehicle in Kundrathur.

People in that area were suggesting the caretaker to sell the cow to the slaughter as the cow sitting on the side of the street is a disturbance to them.

However Mr. Nandhakumar didn’t want to sell the cow for slaughter as he wasn’t raising the cow for commercial dairy purpose but as a companion animal.

He couldn’t take care of further treatment because of his financial issues. He asked if he could hand over the cow to our sanctuary to save from her from going for slaughter.

We sent our Ambulance and rescued the cow.

Her condition is quite unstable and she is not able to get up. She is under treatment now.
